I have had this dream repeatedly, and don't understand why. I have a 16-year-old son and a 9-year-old son. In my dream my younger son gets lost and we can never find him. My dreams always take place outside where there are a lot of people (children, adults) and the people that are always there are people in which me and my family know and associate with. As we walk around trying to find him, we are asking everyone if they have seen him. We are told "yes" he has been seen by a lot of people, but he is nowhere to be found. One thing I can tell you is that my 9-year-old son knows a lot of people and everyone knows him. He has many friends. There is no pain, blood or death in my dream. I just awaken and my son is never found. What can this possibly mean?
Dear Worried,
Not to worry. This dream is not actually about your son, but about you! Your son represents an aspect of yourself that has been dominant in your life, but that you feel diminishing. Think back on how your life has changed over the last year - or even the last few years. The fact that there is no blood or pain means you are transitioning well with the change or changes and that either this is a natural growth or education either spiritually or personally. Since you say that others "see him" but can't find him, then this growth has now become a trait of yours or something that now comes naturally to you. It is inherent in you.
Pleasant dreams,
