Toy Recall Striking a Nerve with Parents

More recalls have been issued on Mattel toys made in China this week.

The list of recalled toys keeps growing longer and longer.

You can view the entire list of recalled toys at woai.com.

This raises the question though......

Were the manufacturers irresponsible?

After hearing the news, many parents turned their child's toy box inside out looking for certain cars, Batman action figures and Polly Pockets.

As parents, this is frustrating.

We want to know what you think.

If you could say something to the manufacturers, what would say?

Are more recalls going to come down?

Do you think outsourcing should stop and more jobs should return to the U.S.?

There have been lots of stories in the news lately about sub-par and dangerous products coming from China.  These events are very interesting as this is a perfect demonstration of how propaganda works.  We may have an independent media but they report the news they are given and the giver is the government.  China does produce products that do not meet our standards and so do we and so do a lot of other countries.  This is not new.  China has been exporting those same products to the US for years.  What is new is the government's need to bash China.

What we are seeing are the first non-lethal shots in what may turn out to be the biggest and nastiest war we have ever been involved with.  This war will be a war for our very survival.  This thing with the guys who wear sheets is just a side show.  Karl Marx understood nothing about human nature but he was not a fool.  He said that all wars are fought over money and he was right.    Money is just a representation of wealth.  The real wealth is trade, control of trade routes and centers, control of agricultural production and mineral wealth, control of manufacturing and raw materials and so on.  China is contending with the West over control of these things right now.  If they win we will be a backwater.

The US Government knows this and has been preparing for some time.  The movers and shakers who own this country have been investing in companies that build shallow draft warships for years.  Shallow draft ships are needed for use in rivers.  Where else in the world but China could those ships be used?  China depends on it's network of rivers to move people and goods still because they lack sufficient roads.  Control of the rivers in China will result in control of China.

Nothing lasts forever.  Empires rise and fall.  History dictates that one day our civilization must crumble.  If we are not careful this showdown with China could be our end.  It is a harsh, cold world and the fact is that if we do not smite the Chinese they will smite us and they are well on the way to doing the smiting.
