Biblical figures go Mainstream

One2believeA talking Jesus?

Words of Wisdom from Moses?

A tale from Esther?

Now your child can learn about the Bible from action figure and dolls.

One2Believe is the maker of the "Tales of Glory" dolls. A doll about the size of a Barbie costs $24.99. Some have a button you can push which tells a Biblical story. Others are smaller action figures.

This morning we debated the practically of these dolls. Would your child play with them? Are these dolls a good idea?

For More Information, visit any Wal-Mart location or visit One2Believe.com.

I dont believe it worth purchasing!!! it will just hold up alot of shelve space; i believe children need to go back to the old way and leave the biblical hog wash to the churches or there parents.

Now your own child can pretend he's King David ordering his Captain (I can't remember his name) to be sent to the front and then abandoned so he could steal the widow, Bathsheba.

These people are treading a path worn smooth by the Jimmy Swaggerts and the Orel Roberts of the world.  If they can sell that stuff then more power to them.

I think it is a free world and individuals have a choice.  Obviously with the poor morals and role models of some parents these days having some biblical input certainly can't hurt with our world turning so corrupt compared to earlier times when religion did have a role in our schools and government.  My compliments to Wal Mart for including these dolls among the other types...

Considering all the horrible things going on in this world and what has been happening to our children, what is wrong with clean toys and clean play? What has happened to protecting our children from the things that have gone wrong in this world? These are clean, innocent, morally correct items for our precious children to play with. There is obviously enough violence in the world that we need something to keep our children peaceful at play. Maybe that is what is wrong with this world we need more "clean" items. This comment goes double for the new P31 dolls for girls as well. These dolls are the opposite of BRATZ. They have clothes that are covering their bodies not showing promiscuity.
For the other gentleman that was referring to the Biblical story about being abandoned, please for yourselves, read the entire story before taking anyone else's opinions.
