I am not surprised at all. I am surely not going to miss it at all. It is just another night to see celebrities get exposure to boost ratings on a television network by boasting how many awards they won and that is the reason why you should watch them. Besides why does there need to be a awards show other than to just see the reactions of the losers is probably the only thing I am going to miss. Now that is REAL TELEVISION! The people to blame are not the writers but the people who pay them, this is all about acknowledging the writers who do not get not even close to half of what the actors who say their lines get, I say Blame Hollywood itself for its own problems, they surely do not affect me, there are always reruns or dvds to be seen. That's just how I see it!

What a waste!!!  Some stupid show for Hollywoods "elite" to prance around in gowns they borrowed or tuxedos they rented big f###### deal!!!  How about running another Twilight Zone marathon, I really enjoyed that "classic" bit of real imaginative television, nothing like the "dead head" ideas and remakes of movies that were best left alone. This is Hollywoods own fault, so let 'em stew, you could always send papparazzi over to the Spears home, those idiots are good for a laugh.  Thank goodness for cable and reruns!!!  Lenny in Texas

GOOD - this was such a waste anyway.  Screw Hollywood!  The movies and entertainment was a lot better back when they focused on that instead of telling the rest of us how to live our lives.

Writers need to get paid!!  After working hard at my Taco Stand, I need some kind of Entertainment, it's an important part of my life...Of course, after me and my chick have some cuchi coo FIRST.

WHO CARES!

What are the "Golden Globe Awards" and who is the "Screen Actors Guild?" As you can see, I could care less about all this and especially about a bunch of over paid "Hollywood Liberals" that want more money for something that is actually worth much much less.

HAHA....Let 'em go get a real job,If Hollywood felt off in the ocean i would'nt miss it............

You know, watching the globes, all these millionaires patting each other on the
back, such a waste of time....you can see who was awarded what in the paper
the next day...same for the Academy Awards, it won't be missed.....

Like Peggy said.."WHO CARES"....me neither. I'm sick to heck with all the hollywood bs. If I were king I'd pay all of them minimum wage and pay the big bucks to lifesavers and real role models like teachers, nurses and doctors, firefighters and the like.  

...anyway the real stars of hollywood are few and far between and they worked for PENNIES compared to those overnight no talent "stars" of now. I thank goodness I am old enough to know who those real stars were: John Wayne, Liz Taylor, Jimmy Stewart, Clark Gable, etc, etc.

I couldn't care less.  Writers strike?  Who cares?  There isn't that much on TV worth watching anymore and the movies are worse.  

I really doesn't matter, it's just awards for no talent pukes.  I'd rather watch commercials, some of those are at least clever.

Complete waste of time. Pure vanity on disply- who cares about so much insignificance in today's world that is filled with so many issues of survival. Hollywood is filled nothing but a group of pompous fools fueled by a nation of people who no longer seem to have a grasp on the valuable things in life. Wake up America!
