27 Dresses, refers to the 27 different bridesmaid’s dresses Katherine Heigl wore at various weddings. She was always a bridesmaid but longed to be a bride, and the man she picks runs off with her sister instead. Not to worry. This is supposed to be a romantic comedy so there’s always another prospect waiting in the wings. The story is predictable and the performers act as if they are bored. The movie doesn’t have enough sparkle to shine. Rated PG-13 and worth 2 stars.
