IMPORTANT NUTRITION TIP!!! Read to Succeed!

As we are into Week Two of our great adventure, I have noticed one of the challenges still is with eating out.  We will be focusing more on this in the coming weeks, but what I challenge all of you to do out there is to log onto your favorite restaurant websites or go to www.calorieking.com to plug in what you usually eat or browse through what might be a healthier choice.

In looking at our team's food records from this past week, two surprises that popped up were:

Turkey, bacon, guacamole sandwich at Quizno's was: 650 calories with 23 grams of fat and Arby's Turkey and Swiss sandwich (with no mayo) was 603 with 18 grams of fat.

Sometimes what we are eating sounds healthy...but because of a large portion size or creamy condiments like mayonnaise and ranch dressing, or toppings such as guacamole or cheese...our calorie intake is still over the limit!

So take the eating out challenge...look up your favorites and let me know what you found!

I have used Calorie king religiously for over a year. For $55 (a year) it will calculate everything for you including, carbs, fat etc and send you a weekly report of your progress and where you may have gone wrong. Its amazing how fast the calories from seemingly healthy foods add up. I highly recomend the site to anyone who wants to lose weight. Keep up the good work biggest losers you are an inspiration.
