Can you tell we are almost a full 3 weeks into this lifestyle makeover??? It's getting a little tougher now. You mean we actually have to keep up with this EVERY DAY? We have to think about what healthy things to put in our mouth ALL DAY LONG? We have to get up and move how many times this week? It can be a little painful (not just in your salsa hips) but in your day to day thinking.
We are just hitting that "21 days to create a new habit!" Your doubt is creeping in. Your desire to lay on the couch. Your best friend Mr. Cheese Puff is calling your name. But heck no, we are stronger than that. We are pulling ourselves through one of the toughest weeks.
This is where we start to....QUIT...Give Up...Start again on Monday! BUT NOT THIS GROUP! We are going to dig down deep and find that inner strength, that burning desire to live healthier life, the will to not only look good but FEEL good!
I know this is hard. I know this is work. I know there is sacrifice. But so is waiting in line at McDonald's when the cars wrap all the way around the buildling. Or the line is out the door at Marble Slab. That's what we do...we make sacrifices! And this is one of the greatest you will ever make.
So pick a nice little mantra "I deserve to feel healthy! I feel good when I take care of my body! I am going to look in that mirror and LIKE what I see!" You pick the phrase...and keep it with you. Make it your own. Repeat it to yourself over and over again. "I made this commitment to myself, and I am going to stick to it! I'm making ME even better! Look what I've done in 2-1/2 weeks...just give me 12!"
Come on troops! Let's rally our energy! Let's fire up our desire! Let's get excited about changing our LIVES! (Can you tell I was a cheerleader? HIP HIP HOORAY! LET'S KICK SOME BOOTIE TODAY!)
