Are The Soaring Gas Prices Driving You Crazy?

Do the constant price hikes at the gas pump make you want to scream out in anger when you reach for the handle and select your grade of gas?

Gas has jumped almost 15 cents since last month. We've broken the barrier of $3 and started making citywide records of $3.13 and beyond.

For many San Antonians gas isn't a  luxury, but a necessity. Many people we've spoken to have carved out the extras from their budget to sooth their throbbing pocketbooks.

How much is too much? Will you continue to pay the prices? Have you switched routes or started carpooling? Have you traded in your gas guzzler for something more economic?

Tell us your thoughts.

Right now I think most people are  watching their gas gage and milage to cut corners on trips when they can...(maybe I can do all the shopping at HEB or Target or Costco instead of going from store to store, maybe not South Padre this year, And maybe we dont need to go out tonight and can stay in and order a movie etc)... And how will this effect our grocery bill and all the other things we need to live comfortably? BUT pretty soon I think it will get to beyond the average person's budget if it keeps going like this...  Will we adjust?  The Europeans have and they are paying a lot more!  Now how will the only mass transit SA has adjust?  And all of this starts another debate... the corridor...dum de dum dum.
