Daddy Tex!!

Sean, it has been an honor to be a part of this journey with you.  My heart hurt for you yesterday, because I know how hard you have worked.  66 lbs in 10 weeks is such a huge accomplishment and 21 of that in the last 3!! YOU ROCK!!

It has been a pleasure watching you shrink each week!! From a 3X to a XL - that is so awesome!!  In no time you will be in a L and then a M.  I hope you get that trip to Disney so you can ride the rides.  I think you should go out to Fiesta Texas and do a sample run!!

I know you will continue on your journey and meet your goals!!

Thanks for all your kind words!

Sean Sean Sean Sean (Chanting of course!)  You may be down but you are so not out!  Keep it up and I will be beside you cheering you on.  It has been the greatest honor to get to know you.  You are a great person, a great competitor and a great friend.  I am so proud of you and i know that you will continue on.
I think the best nickname for you should be SLIM! or maybe Slim Seany and you can be a white rapper! or maybe just Sean... it has worked for me!

Why are you on the side cheering him on instead of in the race?

Sean, I couldn't agree more with Mickey.  You have been an inspiration, too.  You work ethic is unquestionable.  You have done an incredible job.  66 pounds is incredible.

Plus, you've got a good sense of humor and you were the only person that really understood the lure of 2 for $2 Valero Hot Dog.  Trust me, very few really understands the pull that it has on a person.

I like Slim as a nickname, too.  My suggestion is Sean "Slim Daddy Tex" Ritter.  I know you have to keep the Tex part.

I am however upset that you stole my thunder.  Everyone I asked about the pants incident has said something like, "yeah, it was funny, but watching Sean have a fit was even funnier."  Thanks a lot, dude! :)

Sean, you are such a great competitor, but more importantly, I feel blessed to have met you because you are a wonderful person. When I see the changes you and your beautiful wife have both made in the past 9 weeks, I am so proud of you, and so glad I have had a front-row seat to watch while really, you are changing the course of your life. I hope I know you long enough to tell your future children what a courageous choice you made, not just for yourself, but for them.
