When I was a kid, fighting was all about posturing and pretending to punch.

I remember this one time a fellow I knew was in love and I made some fun about his girlfriend, probably something about her hiney, and he chased me all the way down the block and was about to punch me in the face and I looked at him and said you can go straight to hell and he like, frowned, defeated, and turned around and just slowly walked back to his house.

I was so ashamed, but startled, so I walked down to his house and told his mother that I was sorry that I offended him.  She seemed to understand but he never talked to me again.  In fact, she was crying.

They were Baptists, so I blew it off in a few days, figuring he would get a grip when she started going with the captain of the football team.  I found out later that he joined the ffa and got into this enema thing with the sheep that actually prevents that mad cow disease, something about scrapies?  You have to clean the brains out before it comes.

Anyway, after that I stayed Methodist.

Yes, I know what you mean.  Last night at our meeting, a couple of the Rotarians had a little disagreement and first thing you know they were punching each other and rolling around in the fruit salad.  It was quite a sight.  The President called the meeting to order again and they quit.  I think they were both as shocked as the rest of us.  Neither one of them had much to say for the rest of the night, though one of them is on the refreshment committee and I think he was pretty upset about what happened to the fruit salad.  Both of those men used to be Methodists and both of them have gotten involved with one of those new evangelical churches.  I think that is what the fight was about.  They probably should have stayed Methodist, too.

my little brother is the fighter and it gives him good self steam.  He goes with us church too.  The cage is good excersize, because the perch are people.  I mean, he used to come home beat up and now he gives it back, alot. You cant put the toothpaste back into the tube, just like the cost of gas, even if you want
