Super Bowl Commercials

We want to hear what you think...What was your favorite commercial of the Super Bowl?  What commercials didn't work at all?  Click here to tell us what you think...

Here are some of our favorites:

1st half

  • Fire Breathing-Bud Light commercial.  Any commercial where a cat gets set on fire, I'm in favor of.  I'm a dog person.
  • Glamdoor- cars.com commercial.  I think I'm the only one that found this one funny, but something about the dry "You might want to step outside the ring of fire" delivery I liked.
  • Stain Talking-Tide.  A guy on an interview being interrupted by the stain on his shirt.  The best one of the first half.
  • Unibrow-Planters.  "Hideous" (my co-workers words, not mine) walks around, and all the guys check her out.  Why?  Peanut perfume.  Does that really work.

More to come in the 2nd half...

The best one by far was the Bud Light fire breather.  As a matter of fact, Bud Light commercials were the only ones that were worth a crap!!!  What happened to all the funny commercials?

I think that the Diet Pepsi Max with Hadaway's "What is Love?" with the cameo by Chris Kattan in the end was great.

The Dorito's Mousetrap though would be my top pick, because that is one of my friend's from Texas State who was actually in the running for the Dorito's competition last year and lost to the "Cheesy" Dorito's ad, though was in the top 3.

Maybe I'm sentimental. But I liked the Budweiser commercial with Hank following the Rocky theme. 2nd choice was the Bridgestone commercial.

John, one of the lizards visibly passes gas towards the end of the commercial.

That's quality television, perhaps the finest America has to offer at this point.
