I get emails. Why are the Spurs listed behind the Lakers and Rockets in the standings when they have the same record? Why is Utah 4th despite being three games back? Some explanations.
At this writing the Spurs, Rockets and Lakers

re: The Wild Wild West: How it breaks down

spurs should be 1 since they won the championship last season

re: The Wild Wild West: How it breaks down

All this is like Clinton and Obama ordeal, if this happens then this is the result; if that happens thats the result........who cares! We all need to shut up and play basketball and WIN!

re: The Wild Wild West: How it breaks down

I WROTE DON HARRIS ABOUT THIS AND NEVER RECEIVED AN ANSWER AND IT NEEDS TO BE ADDRESSED BY MR. STERN. THE LAKERS PLAY THE L.A. CLIPPERS 4 TIMES AND THEY COUNT 2 OF THE GAMES AGAINST THE CLIPPERS AS ROAD GAMES AND THE SAME WITH THE CLIPPPERS PLAYING AGAINST THE LAKERS. THEY BOTH PLAY AT THE SAME STADIUM AND THERE'S NO TRAVEL FOR THE TEAMS AND THE ONLY THING THEY DO IS CHANGE THE COURT TO THE CLIPPERS WHEN THERE THE HOME TEAM AND THE LAKERS HAVE TO USE THE VISITING TEAM LOCKER ROOM. ON TOP OF THAT THERE ARE PROBABLY MORE LAKER FANS THERE AT THE HOME GAMES FOR THE CLIPPERS AND THAT'S JUST NOT RIGHT. I FEEL A ROAD GAME EVEN IF ITS GOING TO GOLDEN STATE THAT WOULD BE A ROAD GAME BUT NOT AT THE SAME ARENA AS YOUR HOME ARENA. WHEN YOU DON'T HAVE TO TRAVEL TO A DIFFERENT ARENA THEN THAT'S NOT A ROAD GAME AND THAT IS A FACT. THEY NEED TO TELL MR. STERN THAT THOSE ARE CONSIDERED HOME GAMES FOR BOTH THOSE TEAMS BECAUSE OF NO TRAVELING. I THINK IT'S CHEATING AND THE LAKERS HAVE THE MEDIA AND REFS/NBA COMMISSIONER ON THEIR SIDE JUST BECAUSE THEY GET HIGHER RATINGS AND THATS WRONG!! THANKS FOR NOT ANSWERING MY QUESTION MR. HARRIS. IF YOU COULD PLEASE TALK TO MR. STERN ABOUT THIS AND HOPEFULLY GET IT CHANGED THEN THAT WOULD BE VERY MUCH APPRECIATED. THANK YOU AND I ASK ANYONE ELSE WHO WANTS TO COMMENT ON THIS EXCEPT THE LAKER FANS WHO ARE SO DAMNED SPOILED IT ISN'T FUNNY.
                                      SINCERELY
                                        PETE G.

re: The Wild Wild West: How it breaks down

Your an idiot pete

re: The Wild Wild West: How it breaks down

@ Pete:

First of all, Caps Lock has two positions (on & off), give the other one a try.

Second, the only way to fix it is to relocate one of the teams, which won't happen. They are in the same division so they have to play each other four times. It's really not a bid deal that the Lakers and Clippers get 43 home games instead of 41.
