Save the Black Donnelys

There is an online petition to get the Black Donnelys on HBO for season two. Over 36,000 rabid fans have already signed the petition and have taken it a step further by collecting donations of shamrocks, crackers and quarters ($34 collected so far. Fear not...the money will be donated to the Autism Society) to send to the network to convince them to air season two. They intend to send HBO 9,600 crackers a week for as long as it takes to convince the network to air the show or till they run out of the funds needed to send the salty snacks. It worked for Jericho on CBS perhaps this will work too. Would you like to see Black Donnelys return for a second season? Would you be more likely to watch it if it aired on HBO?

Thank you for posting about our campaign!  We are sending quarters, shamrocks and crackers to offer diversity for our fans so they can do what they can do!!  We are targeting HBO b/c we feel TBD and HBO would blossom into a great relationship!  Mark Cuban is currently airing all episodes on HDnet, Wednesday nights at 8:00!  

We have a loyal and passionate fan base that knows that the story of The Black Donnellys needs to be told!

Thanks so much for the mention of our campaign to bring the Black Donnellys back to TV, in particular HBO.   NBC made a huge mistake in cancelling this outstanding drama after only 6 episodes forcing us to watch on line.  We saw from the beginning the potential this program has and will fight to give it that chance.  We hope HBO sees it our way and gives it the chance it deserves.

I would be so great to have a second season of The Black Donnellys.  I would subscribe to HBO in a second if they were to pick-up The Black Donnellys.  It is an amazing show.  Thanks for the article on The Black Donnellys.

i love the black donnely's theres nothing like it really on t.v and i loved the cast bring the show back! i also liked studio 60 seems i always like the shows that don't stick remember a show american dreams or something with a girl named bella and these kids go to a private school in the country. It was good too and only ran a couple of episodes!

The Black Donnely's was an amazing show. It's a real shame it's not airing anymore, since the season finale had no closure.  This show touched on every aspect of humanity; family, friends, love, loyalty, friendship, murder, hate, etc.
I connected with the characters in a way that most TV shows don't leave room for.  Bring it back.
