New Fall Programming Season Looking Good For Viewers

The new programming season will begin in three weeks and this year's crop could prove to be one of the best in tv history.

Media analysts predict the following shows will rank among the top ten:

ABC's drama "Pushing Daisies"
Once upon a time, a mild-mannered boy named Ned realized he could touch dead things and bring them back to life. Grown-up Ned puts his ability to good use, not only touching dead fruit and making it ripe with everlasting flavor, but working with an investigator to crack murder cases by asking the deceased to name their killers. Ned is played by Lee Pace ("The Good Shepherd")

CBS's comedy "Big Bang Theory"
Two brainy friends (Jim Parsons and "Roseanne" star Jonny Galecki) and the remaining members of their "geek squad" try to fit into the social world at the coaching of their sexy new neighbor (Kaley Cuoco of  "8 Simple Rules" fame).

NBC's remake of "The Bionic Woman"
Struggling as a bartender and surrogate mom to her teenage sister, Jaime Sommers (Michelle Ryan, "EastEnders") didn't think life could get much harder. But when a devastating car accident leaves her at death's door, Jaime's only hope for survival is a cutting-edge, top secret technology that comes at a hefty price. With a whole new existence and a debt to repay, Jaime must figure out how to use her extraordinary abilities for good, while weighing the personal sacrifices she'll have to make.

Fox's sitcom "Back To You"
Throughout the 1990s Chuck Darling and Kelly Carr were the faces of Pittsburgh news.
On the screen they were the perfect duo with an amazing chemistry that charmed audiences. Off-screen, however, was another story. So when Chuck got the opportunity to leave for a larger market, no tears were shed. But when an embarrassing on-air blooper found its way to You Tube, the former news star anchor found himself returning to his old newsroom.
Starring Kelsey Grammer, Patricia Heaton.

CW's new comedy "Aliens In America"
Meet your typical American family, the Tolchuk's of Medora, Wisconsin; Franny, the well-meaning mother; Gary, the aspiring-entrepreneur father; Claire, the popular high school student; and Justin, the 16-year-old social outcast. When Franny signs up to host an international exchange student, the family pictures a cool athletic Nordic teen that will instantly help her son's popularity quotient at high school. Instead, they are sent 16-year-old Pakistani Muslim Raja Musharaff. Regardless of the differences between Justin and Raja, the two teens develop a unique friendship. Starring Dan Byrd, Amy Pietz, Scott Patterson, Lindsey Shaw, Adhir Kalyan.
