Day two of premiere week: Sugar, Scars, and Cynthia

Day two of premiere week has come and gone. No matter what genre you are interested in there was something for everyone on the air. NBC's Law and Order SVU aired its season premiere opposite CBS' much anticipated Cane. In truth I watched Cane and recorded L&O SVU. Sex in the City was one of my favorite TV shows so I was interested in seeing Cynthia Nixon's performance. The promo's for the show were chilling and I just wasn't in that frame of mind last night so I chose to record it. I will watch it today when I get home from work…with the lights on.

Cane was great. I will definitely be watching the other episodes, but it was not as good as I had anticipated. I think that some of the characters did not go well together. I think Alex's wife Isabel seemed a little too young to have an 18 year old, (apparently she's still young enough to get pregnant). I also thought they looked a little out of place at the baseball game, looked more like they were dressed for a night out on the town. Overall while I enjoyed the show I thought it was a little slow and they will need to pick up the pace to avoid losing viewers.

Mark Cuban's much anticipated dancing debut also aired last night. As much as we love to hate Mark Cuban he has some moves. If he can behave himself he may make it through a few rounds. FYI, if you haven't seen it, brace yourself he did show off his scar from his recent hip replacement surgery and lets just say it was not in an area I wanted to see. I am a little traumatized.

Tonight look for the premieres of Bionic Woman and Life. While its not my thing I think that the Bionic Woman is very well made and should do well this season.

What shows did you watch last night? Which were your favorites and which were a little disappointing? Do you think the new Bionic Woman will be as good as or better than the first one? Tell us what you think.
